Amazon claims $149.99. We have never seen it hold above $109.99.

Espresso is brewed at about 9 bar; the 15 or 20 bar printed on a box is what the pump can reach, not a stronger shot. A semi-automatic machine (Breville Barista, Gaggia Classic) leaves grinding, dosing and tamping to you, and some build the grinder in. A super-automatic (De’Longhi Magnifica, Philips LatteGo) grinds, tamps and brews from whole beans at a button, and costs more for it. A capsule machine takes only its own pods: Nespresso Original and Vertuo capsules do not fit each other’s machines. For drip coffee, the Specialty Coffee Association certifies brewers that reach 92 °C (198 °F) within the first minute, never pass 96 °C (205 °F), and keep water on the grounds for four to eight minutes. A separate grinder for espresso has to be a burr grinder that goes fine enough; many drip grinders do not.
