Affiliate disclosure

We earn a commission on purchases. It never affects our rankings.

Where this disclosure appears

The FTC standard is “clear and conspicuous”: a disclosure has to be unavoidable before the click, not findable afterwards. A single line in the footer is not co-visible with a link twelve screens above it, so ours is rendered on every card that carries a monetized link and again at the top of every page. This page is the long version, not the disclosure itself.

The program

One: Amazon Associates, run by Amazon. Every retailer link on the site today goes to Amazon. A new program is named on this page before the first link it pays for, and we will not join one that requires us to change how a price is presented.

Required program statements

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

CERTAIN CONTENT THAT APPEARS ON THIS SITE COMES FROM AMAZON.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.

How Amazon links behave here

Amazon links go direct to Amazon and never through our /go/ redirector, because the Associates operating agreement forbids redirecting Special Links. Amazon product images are hotlinked from Amazon and never stored on our servers, and a cached Amazon price is displayed for at most 24 hours before we replace the number with “check price”.

What commission does not buy

Not ranking, not inclusion, not a badge. Ranking is discount depth against our own recorded history plus recency; no retailer has paid for placement and we do not sell it. The full accounting.
