Tablet prices split by who makes them. Amazon discounts its own Fire tablets hardest during its two big events, Prime Day in July and Black Friday, and holds them close to list price in between. Apple leaves iPad pricing to retailers, who cut the base models in small steps and go deepest after a new generation is announced. Storage size and Wi-Fi versus cellular are separate listings with separate prices, so every card here is one exact configuration. Kindle e-readers are filed here too and follow the Fire calendar, and a Kindle with lock-screen ads and the same Kindle without them are separate listings about $20 apart.
