When Keepa is the better choice

  • You sell on Amazon and need Buy Box, offer-count or sales-rank history.
  • You compare one product across Amazon's country marketplaces.
  • You want the chart drawn on the Amazon page, or an app with a barcode scanner.
  • You need years of history on a product we only started recording recently.

When this site is

  • You want a plain answer on today’s price, with the method on how we verify prices and our misses listed on the track record.
  • You have already bought and want to hear if the price falls while you can still return it.
  • You would rather not make an account for an alert.
  • You want several products priced as one purchase, which is what the basket does.

Questions people ask

Do I need an account for a price alert?
Keepa asks for a free account before it tracks a product. Here there is none: an email alert is confirmed from a link in the first message, a browser alert needs only the browser's permission, and every alert carries its own stop link.
Does BasketPrice show Buy Box or sales-rank charts like Keepa?
No. We record the price of each offer and note its condition and seller, and we use Amazon's sales rank to order the most-bought lists, but we draw no Buy Box, FBA, offer-count or sales-rank charts.
Is there an app?
No. The pages are built for a phone, and browser alerts work from the site itself; on an iPhone that means adding the site to the Home Screen first.

Where their side comes from

Keepa is named here only to compare it. BasketPrice is not affiliated with it, and its name belongs to its owner. Spot a row that is out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
