Honey alternative for price tracking
Honey is a coupon and rewards extension with a price watchlist inside it; this site is a price record you need nothing installed to read, which says whether today's Amazon price is a good one and how often that call held up.
Honey’s side checked against its own pages on . Ours is read from the live site. 12,755 products tracked, checked at least every 20 hours.
| Honey | BasketPrice | |
|---|---|---|
| How far back the chart goes | The price changes Honey has seen on an Amazon item over the last 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. | From the day we began tracking each product; our oldest reading is from September 8, 2026. |
| Which prices | Competing Amazon sellers of the exact variant you are viewing, with Prime shipping taken into account. | One price per retailer offer, with Renewed and used offers labelled; no separate third-party, Buy Box or sales-rank lines. |
| Stores and countries | Amazon and the other stores Honey supports; its help pages say Droplist is not available on every site. | Amazon, US sites only. |
| On the Amazon page itself | Extensions for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Edge, and apps for iOS and Android. | No extension. A bookmarklet on the tracker page carries the address you are on to the lookup form. |
| Account | Droplist is kept in a Honey account and synced between extension and app; earning rewards needs a PayPal account in good standing. | None. Nothing here needs one. |
| Is today's price good? | None on the pages we checked; the price history is shown for you to judge. | Says whether today's price is good against its own median once 7 days are recorded, and scores those calls afterwards in public. |
| Taking the data | None on the pages we checked. | An RSS feed per product. Amazon's licence keeps its prices out of feeds and downloads, so CSV and JSON files cover other retailers only. |
| Cost | Free; purchases can earn PayPal Rewards, redeemable for cash or gift cards. | Free. Paid for by commission when you buy through a link. |

Questions people ask
- Does Honey show a price history for Amazon items?
- Yes. Honey's help pages say it shows the price changes it has seen on an Amazon item over the last 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. Our record for a product starts on the day we began tracking it, and every product page here prints that date.
- Does BasketPrice apply coupon codes at checkout?
- No. Nothing here runs on the retailer's site or touches your cart. If codes tried automatically at checkout are what you want, Honey does that and we do not.
- Can I use both?
- Yes. They work independently: this site before you buy, to decide whether the price is worth paying at all, and Honey at the checkout.
