pricehistoryapp.com alternative (US prices)
Price History is an India-first tracker built around Amazon.in, Flipkart and Myntra, with a deal score on every product; this site records amazon.com in dollars and publishes the reasoning behind each call rather than a score.
Price History’s side checked against its own pages on . Ours is read from the live site. 12,755 products tracked, checked at least every 20 hours.
| Price History | BasketPrice | |
|---|---|---|
| How far back the chart goes | To the day they began tracking the product; product pages print a "days of history" count beside the price. | From the day we began tracking each product; our oldest reading is from September 8, 2026. |
| Which prices | One line per store, with the all-time low, the all-time high and a 30-day average printed above it. | One price per retailer offer, with Renewed and used offers labelled; no separate third-party, Buy Box or sales-rank lines. |
| Stores and countries | India: Amazon.in, Flipkart and Myntra, in rupees. Their home page also publishes daily gold and silver rates by city. | Amazon, US sites only. |
| On the store page itself | None on the pages we checked; tracking starts by pasting a product link. | No extension. A bookmarklet on the tracker page carries the address you are on to the lookup form. |
| Account | Sign-in pages exist for alerts; the charts are readable without one. | None. Nothing here needs one. |
| Is today’s price good? | A percentage "deal score" on the product page, alongside the all-time low and the 30-day average. | Says whether today's price is good against its own median once 7 days are recorded, and scores those calls afterwards in public. |
| Taking the data | None on the pages we checked. | An RSS feed per product. Amazon's licence keeps its prices out of feeds and downloads, so CSV and JSON files cover other retailers only. |
| Cost | Free. | Free. Paid for by commission when you buy through a link. |
When Price History is the better choice
- You shop in India. Everything here is amazon.com in US dollars, and nothing we record applies to Flipkart, Myntra or Amazon.in.
- You want Flipkart and Myntra prices in the same place as Amazon.
- You want a single number to glance at rather than a sentence explaining the call.
- You want the daily gold and silver rates they publish alongside the trackers.
When this site is
- You want a plain answer on today’s price, with the method on how we verify prices and our misses listed on the track record.
- You want several products priced as one purchase, which is what the basket does.
Questions people ask
- Does BasketPrice track Flipkart or Amazon.in?
- No. Only amazon.com, in US dollars. If your shopping is in rupees, Price History covers stores we do not touch at all.
- Why a sentence instead of a deal score?
- A score compresses the reasoning into a number you cannot check. Each product page here states the figures the call was made from — the middle price across the days we watched, the low, the high, and how many days that is — so you can disagree with the conclusion and still use the record.
- Do you publish how often your calls were right?
- Yes, on /track-record: every verdict we printed, scored against what the price actually did afterwards, including the ones we got wrong.
