How often our verdicts held up

Every product page says whether today’s price is worth paying. This page checks those calls against what the price did in the 30 days after we made them, and lists every one that turned out wrong.

What counts as right

  • Buy calls (“cheapest yet”, “good price”, “price has held”) are right if the price did not go at least 2% lower within 30 days.
  • Wait calls (“above normal”) are right if it did.
  • “About normal” makes no call on timing, so it is not scored.
  • A call repeated day after day at the same price counts once. New units only.

Nothing to score yet. No product page has made a call yet: one needs 10 days with a recorded price, or a price that has held for 14 days.
