Phone prices follow the launch calendar: Samsung ships its Galaxy S line in late January or February, Google its Pixels in August and Apple its iPhones in September, and the outgoing model is cut hardest in the weeks around its successor. On Amazon one phone is often three listings at three prices — unlocked, tied to one carrier, and Renewed. A carrier listing is cheaper because it has to be activated on that carrier’s plan; a Renewed one comes with Amazon’s 90-day Renewed Guarantee rather than a manufacturer warranty. Every card here is one exact listing, storage size included.
