Visualping alternative for Amazon prices
Visualping watches any web page for change and tells you it changed; this site watches amazon.com prices, keeps the series, and says whether the new number is a good one against the ones before it.
Visualping’s side checked against its own pages on . Ours is read from the live site. 12,755 products tracked, checked at least every 20 hours.

|---|---|---|
| How far back the chart goes | A history of changes to the page, as screenshots and diffs, for as long as that job has run. | From the day we began tracking each product; our oldest reading is from September 8, 2026. |
| Which prices | Whatever sits in the area of the page you selected — it monitors a region of a page, not a price field. | One price per retailer offer, with Renewed and used offers labelled; no separate third-party, Buy Box or sales-rank lines. |
| Stores and countries | Any URL, on any retailer, anywhere. This is the reason to choose them. | Amazon, US sites only. |
| On the store page itself | A browser extension for selecting the area to watch, plus a web app. | No extension. A bookmarklet on the tracker page carries the address you are on to the lookup form. |
| Account | Required: the jobs and their history live in it. | None. Nothing here needs one. |
| Is today’s price good? | No. It reports that the page changed; judging the number is yours. | Says whether today's price is good against its own median once 7 days are recorded, and scores those calls afterwards in public. |
| Taking the data | API and webhooks on paid plans. | An RSS feed per product. Amazon's licence keeps its prices out of feeds and downloads, so CSV and JSON files cover other retailers only. |
| Cost | A free tier with a couple of checks a day; paid plans started at $50/month personal and $100/month business when checked, billed on checks and pages. | Free. Paid for by commission when you buy through a link. |
When Visualping is the better choice
- You need to watch a retailer we do not track — a small shop, a B2B catalogue, a niche marketplace.
- You want proof of the change as a screenshot, not only a number.
- You want stock, delivery dates or terms watched as well as the price.
- You want the alert in Slack, a webhook or an API rather than on a web page.
When this site is
- You want a plain answer on today’s price, with the method on how we verify prices and our misses listed on the track record.
- You want several products priced as one purchase, which is what the basket does.
Questions people ask
- Is a change monitor the same as a price tracker?
- No, and the difference shows on the day you want to decide. A change monitor tells you today’s number is new. A record tells you where today’s number sits among every number that retailer has charged since we started watching, which is what "should I buy now" actually asks.
- Why not point Visualping at an Amazon page yourself?
- You can. Note that Amazon’s terms forbid crawling their product pages, which is why every Amazon price here comes from their own API under their licence rather than from a crawler.
